Tree Of Trust Print

“Tree of Trust” Watercolor on watercolor paper. This painting came about after a magical experience in a bamboo forest in Hawaii. My husband and I were in Maui years ago. We drove to the other side of the island and stopped in to see this forest. We were not planning or prepared to hike but it was so magical in there, we just kept walking until we got the the waterfall. It was a stunning site and now we needed to head back and it was really starting to get dark. My husband was trying to hurry us along but I was tired, hungry and thirsty. I told him I needed a minute and stopped and walked off the path to this massive Bayan tree. It was a sight to see, so ancient and majestic. I put my hand on the tree to rest up against it and to my surprise I felt energy under my hand! I then put both hands on the tree and without a doubt the tree gave me energy to finish our journey! It knew exactly what I needed.✨ This tree shifted my consciousness in that moment and I understood it was a sentient being. It was an experience that opened the doors for me spiritually as well and to this day, when I meditate I always go to my Tree of Trust.
